We exist to help organisations close the gap between intention and execution.
Most organisations already know something isn't working. The challenge is understanding what's really causing it and why previous attempts to fix it haven't lasted.
That's where we work.
Consilium Advisory was founded on a simple belief: organisations don't need more generic recommendations. They need honest diagnosis, constructive challenge, and practical support that helps change stick.
Our approach is built around three principles.
Counsel
Good decisions start with understanding reality.
Before making recommendations, we take the time to understand the organisation, the people, and the system it operates within. We look beyond symptoms to identify the factors truly driving performance.
Challenge
Progress often starts with a difficult conversation.
We bring an independent perspective, challenge assumptions, and ask the questions others may be avoiding. Not to create friction, but to help leaders make better decisions.
Execute
Ideas only matter when they become action.
We stay close to implementation, helping organisations translate plans into practical change and ensuring improvements are embedded long after the engagement ends.

Danny Leeds
Managing Partner and Founder
Danny Leeds has spent his career working in the space where strategy meets reality. That gap - between what organisations say they want to do and what actually happens day to day is where most performance issues sit. It’s also the space he’s built his career around understanding and closing.
His experience is intentionally wide-ranging. He’s worked inside organisations in senior roles, leading large-scale transformation programmes, reshaping operating models, and improving governance and performance across complex, multi-site environments. Alongside that, he’s built and run consultancy practices from the ground up, working directly with founders, boards, and executive teams on real organisational challenges. That mix - being both on the inside and advising from the outside gives him a perspective that’s grounded, practical, and hard to replicate.
Across sectors — from financial services and professional services to education, health, and charities, the core of his work has remained consistent. Get underneath what’s really going on. Call it out clearly, even when it’s uncomfortable. Then build the conditions needed to change it and stay close enough to make sure that change actually sticks. The context may change, but the discipline doesn’t.
Danny has developed his own diagnostic frameworks to help senior teams make better, more informed decisions. He’s worked with boards on governance, succession, and resilience. He’s led culture change, operating model redesign, and strategic clarity work with executive teams. And he’s spent a lot of time developing senior leaders — focusing on the behaviours and performance systems that ultimately determine whether a strategy works in practice.
His approach is straightforward: understand what’s really happening before offering solutions, challenge where it’s needed, and judge success by what’s different once the work is done — not just what was delivered along the way.
Outside of his professional work, Danny is heavily involved in his local rugby club, where he serves as Director of Rugby - playing a hands-on role in shaping performance, culture, and the long-term direction of the club.
Away from that, he enjoys getting out to live sporting events and music whenever he can, is always looking for an excuse to explore somewhere new, and can often be found hacking his way around a golf course - more for the challenge (and the walk) than the scorecard.
